At The Bunkhouse, we believe that music and creativity should be for everyone, no matter your background, experience, or starting point.

That’s why we’re proud to offer free-to-the-point-of-service education and training programmes, focused on helping the next generation access real opportunities within the creative industries. Whether it’s live music, event production, sound engineering, or creative entrepreneurship, our sessions are hands-on, practical, and rooted in real-world experience.

We’re not about theory for the sake of it. Our workshops and mentoring sessions are designed to give people genuine skills, confidence, and industry knowledge, delivered by professionals who’ve come up through the grassroots scene themselves.

We have long-standing relationships with key partners including:
Creative Wales, University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD), Gower College Swansea, Creative Swansea, Swansea Council, Swansea Arena (Swansea Building Society Arena), Creative West Wales, and others, working together to build a stronger, more inclusive creative sector across the region.

Whether it’s in our venue or out in the community, our goal is simple:
To break down barriers, support local talent, and give people the tools they need to build a future in music and the wider creative industries.
