Website Accessibility Statement
At The Bunkhouse and through our projects like Lovely Town, we’re committed to making our digital platforms as accessible and inclusive as possible.

Our current website is available in both English and Cymraeg, and while we don’t yet use specialist accessibility plugins, we are actively exploring ways to improve accessibility across the board, including screen reader compatibility, clearer navigation, and inclusive design.
We welcome all feedback, and we’re open to working directly with users and partners to ensure our site can be accessed and enjoyed by everyone.

If you experience any difficulties or have suggestions, please email us at info@thebunkhouseswansea.com.
We’re here to listen, learn, and do better.

Inclusion & Safe Space Policy
The Bunkhouse, and all of our projects, including Lovely Town are built on the values of equality, access, and community.
We run a clear “No discrimination. No bullshit.” policy. We are proudly inclusive, and our spaces are safe for all, regardless of race, gender, sexuality, background, or ability.

From our programming and partnerships to the way we train our team, we actively work to create an environment where everyone feels respected and supported, whether on stage, in the crowd, or behind the scenes. Our work with LGBTQ+ groups, underrepresented artists, and grassroots communities reflects our belief that creativity thrives when everyone has a seat at the table.

All staff are trained to spot and stop harassment, and we encourage anyone who sees or experiences something that doesn’t sit right to speak up. We’re here to listen, and act.

Our inclusion efforts go beyond our venue. Through initiatives like Lovely Town and our year-round creative programmes, we’re helping build a more open and diverse creative industry, starting here in South Wales.

Sustainability Statement
We take sustainability seriously, across our venue, external events, and all project work.

At The Bunkhouse, we:
-
Recycle glass, plastic, metals and cardboard via local waste partners
-
Use reusable plastic glasses to reduce single-use waste
-
Source around 80% of our products from local suppliers
-
Issue digital tickets as standard to reduce paper usage
-
Encourage artists and audiences to travel sustainably and reduce touring impact

While we’re not yet partnered with formal green initiatives, sustainability is part of our everyday decisions, from supply chain to show production.

Looking forward, we’re aiming to phase out glass bottles where possible in favour of more recyclable cans, and continue evolving how we reduce our footprint across everything we do, from grassroots shows to large-scale festivals.
We recognise this is an ongoing journey, and we’re open to ideas, partnerships, and feedback to help us do better.
