Lovely Town is more than just a music festival, it’s a platform for the next generation of artists, creatives, and music professionals across South West Wales and beyond.

Founded and run by Jordan McGuire (Operations Director of The Bunkhouse) and Simon Parton (BBC Horizons and co-founder of Swansea Fringe), Lovely Town is an independent, grassroots-led project with a mission: to connect emerging talent with real industry access, opportunities, and community.

The Festival
Launched in Swansea, Lovely Town Festival is a free, multi-day event within the city and it's spaces. It features:
-
Live performances from up-and-coming artists
-
Industry panels and Q&As with leading professionals
-
Networking mixers and workshops
-
Career-building sessions for emerging creatives
-
A focus on inclusivity, representation, and hands-on learning
From female-led industry discussions to DIY artist talks and festival booker panels, the event is designed to break down barriers and give local talent a proper foot in the door.

Year-Round Impact
Lovely Town doesn’t stop when the weekend ends.

The team also works throughout the year on creative project management, industry courses, event support, and educational programmes. From helping deliver music business workshops to mentoring new promoters and curating talent showcases, we’re committed to building sustainable pathways into the creative industries.

Whether you're an artist, student, or organisation looking to collaborate, Lovely Town is here to make space for what’s next.
